About Candice

Candice Correia (she/her) is a pre-licensed mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from Roger Williams University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Bridgewater State University. Candice is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.

Candice has experience providing trauma-informed, client-centered care across a range of settings, including schools, community-based programs, outpatient treatment centers, and correctional facilities. Her clinical background includes supporting children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of behavioral health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

Candice primarily utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a structured, evidence-based approach designed to help clients process traumatic experiences and develop healthier coping strategies. She tailors this approach to meet the unique needs of each client, integrating psychoeducation, emotional regulation techniques, and cognitive restructuring to promote resilience and healing.
